Great sea views from this centrally located house

 

Armadale House is in the seaboard village of Portmahomack on the east coast overlooking the Dornoch Firth. Not far from the other Easter Ross seaboard villages of Balintore, Hilton of Cadboll and Shandwick. The larger town of Tain is 10 miles away, Dornoch is 23 miles and inverness is 40 miles.

The house has great, unspoilt, views over the Dornoch Firth out to sea from all rooms and is in a good central location with easy access to the local store and post office as well the few places to eat and have a drink.

Armadale House is well equipped and comfortable and is family and dog friendly. There is on street parking outside the house and free Wi-Fi.

As you enter the house from the main street opposite the harbour the kitchen/diner is on the ground floor. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave, electric kettle, toaster and plenty kitchenware. There dining table has seating for 4 guests.

All of the other rooms are on the first floor. There is a good sized lounge with ample seating for 4, a TV with DVD player. A sofa bed in the lounge accommodates an additional guest. There are 2 bedrooms, both with king size beds, one bedroom is off the lounge and the other off the hallway at the top of the stairs. Both have dressing tables with mirrors, wardrobes and bedside cabinets with lights.

The bathroom has a bath with shower, wash hand basin and toilet.

The house has electric heating, Wi-fi internet and parking directly outside on the main street.

The rental includes electricity, bed linen and towels.

Up to 2 dogs are welcome at an additional cost.
