The heating system in our community hall gave up the ghost a few months ago and the Hall will become unusable as we go into the colder weather. The good news is that we have found a system that will be installed shortly, but of course it is a very costly investment. The volunteers on our Hall committee have done an amazing job in raising an incredible £26,000 (great work by Carol and Pamela!) from various grants but we desperately need your support to raise the remaining £4,200.

Our Hall really is at the heart of our community: hosting regular groups such as cubs & beavers, yoga, bowling, fitness classes, karate, drumming and much more. It is where parties, marriages, funeral teas and concerts are held. When we've asked for support previously, our community, and those with a love for the Port, have responded generously. Please support our village hall again so we can keep our community resource open (and warm!).
